You can blame her if you want to not really caring if that is what you need to do. I don't blame her if the girl has been thinking UConn for the last seven years. So yes you can blame her no problem. I don't blame her guess if you care about that is your problem.
Absolutely! Just like I'm sure Berry will have a perfectly valid reason for not wanting to represent her state school. And literally the entire 23 recruiting class that didn't want to come here. I mean Kellie isn't some kind of supernatural being or god that can force recruits to come here. She shouldn't be held accountable for things she can't control, right?
If you want to hold her accountable for whatever that is your choice. I see you gained a few companions over the last year so that should make you feel better. Why do you care if I don't think not getting Beri or Cambridge is an accountable offense. I will agree with the fact that were going to need some players. I don't care where they come from. I can agree were in a semi bad situation right now. This team is underachieving and also going to need a roster next year better than what is presently on board unless nobody leaves. I just choose not to complain about it everyday. I can let it all play out and it will. Still time for it to go either way with the current team and any future team. I agree we can't be patient forever, but I can still be patient for now. I don't see any other coach we could get doing any better or having a better winning percentage. We'll need somebody that can do a better job, but don't care to make just a million a year. I guess there might be someone out there like that and we can start looking into it eventually. This meaning if we can't make a run in the NCAA this year and team turns out to not be up to standards next season.Absolutely! Exactly where Tennessee was back when they made the change. Not paying the big money even though we were once a top womens program they know where the money is football and they want most of the money to go in that direction. Will they make a change if things don't go at least well enough to get to the NCAA and a sweet sixteen or better. Sure they will but it will be somebody that is willing to take the same type pay they are paying now.I don't really want to pick many bones in this recruiting fight, as I feel everything's pretty obvious and has been for a while now, but I don't think I agree that there weren't coaches to be got. Tennessee just wasn't interested in either seeking a change or having to pay commensurate the costs associated with such a change. And to be fair to the department, most schools wouldn't and won't. These programs already have enough costs to address as it is; they don't want to incur any expenses for women's basketball unless they absolutely have to. Or at least, that's how it seems. They'll make moves when contracts are up, sure, but unless you hold a hot poker to their feet they are not going to drop big money on this stuff. Someone might argue that UConn would, but I suspect we'll learn they're no different once Auriemma retires. It's just how this sport is.
I'm not in a position where I want to say too much. I'm the sports editor of the local paper right here in Sanford, and I've been in this business for almost 30 years. It's not my first time being around big-time recruits, and I've probably seen Sarah play about 20 times since she came to Grace. I will just say I have the impression some teams may be trying harder than others and leave it at that. I'm not convinced she will just default to NC State because her dad played there.Meaning the LVs are not interested or Strong is not interested in the Lady Vols?
From back in January and included in this thread earlier:
“It’s been incredible already to have seven Power-5 coaches in this gym over the past two months,” said Revelle. “I mean UConn, Notre Dame, N.C. State, Tennessee, Duke, Louisville, all those teams have been here.”

What’s up?

Other part to that was how much interest did this staff show in Kennedy during that time? Another Top 50 player that re-opened her recruitment during the time they were here.I think you are trying to establish a straw man here by saying Kellie should be able to get Cambridge. When she, as most expect, doesn’t land Cambridge you can then further criticize Kellie.
I would not put too much stock in the young lady’s on campus visit while she was in Knoxville anyway. I think that was either courtesy or just general interest in the facilities or to meet the current lady Vols. There has been no hint of interest from this young lady or her parents. If she decides to become a Lady Vol that would be a huge surprise and Kellie should get big kudos.
Recruiting for Cambridge is extreme right now. Pick your top 30 schools they are all in on her and hard. The same for Berry (maybe the most under ranked in the 24 class). Getting either one will be an achievement for any school.I think you are trying to establish a straw man here by saying Kellie should be able to get Cambridge. When she, as most expect, doesn’t land Cambridge you can then further criticize Kellie.
