A team with 3 losses won’t get in, 2 yea but 3 no. You still got the big twelve , ACC and PAC 12 and Big Ten who will be screaming to get their teams in the playoff too

Vandy got UT, Bama, LSU, Texas and Auburn. They basically got the same schedule as Bama but they’re not Bama.

Only 2 teams got both UGA and Bama. Us and Auburn. Only 2 teams avoided both. Arkansas and A&M.

S Carolina and Texas should be happy, easiest scheduling in my opinion. We have our regular hard schedule and added an at Oklahoma for good measure.

It is what it is but I thought they were going to look at last 10 years and adjust?

Really thought we might get Texas in a battle of UT's..

I absolutely agree with this. The rest of the country will scream if its even considered to take a 3 loss SEC team. Dont kid yourself......that is the reason the entire world is begging us to go to 9 game conf. schedule.

Lets face it, Every single year is going to be a loaded schedule for every team...There is no way around it...The strong will survive and the weak will be eaten as is the law of nature.

SOoooo the loser of the SEC championship will never make the CFP-12?

I would be willing to bet that at least 33% of the years, one of the teams in SCG will go in with 2 losses. If you say a 3-loss team will never be in CFP-12 then that means the loser of SCG if that gives them 3 losses can make it.

Interesting theory.

If these schedules are balanced without divisions which has been the problem for many years, then it is going to be hard for multiple teams to make it through the SEC schedule with only 1 loss.

Just look at 2024, UT has always had to basically be undefeated against Al & Ga and the rest of SEC to make SCG. 2024 either Al or Ga will automatically have a loss before season even starts that means that they will have to run the table on the rest of their schedule to only have 1 loss come SEC Championship game.

Nope. Easiest schedules are Arkansas and A&M. They both avoid Bama and UGA.

Arky & Okla were a combined 13-13 last year. Florida is going downhill fast under Napier. Vandy is Vandy, Kentucky is Kentucky, and MSU has a new coach. Take away Bama and Georgia and it’s cupcake city.

Agree. I don't get the fuss some are making this 24 schedule looks the easiest of any UT schedule I can remember. Only 2 easier schedules from what I've seen are Texas and A&M

Think 2024 is bad, what if we go to 9 games in 2025 without a reset; AL, Vandy, Ole Miss, Texas, Mizzo, USCjr, Auburn, A&M and LSU!!! Hope Nico is ready!!!!!
