I didn’t have HVL as a WNBA player, Barker is currently a top 5 pick in draft projection in her draft class. So do u think she won’t get drafted if she goes to Texas, I just want it on record?

Better yet, the branch campus of Eastern North Dakota State. Correct there is no such institution. Why take chances?

All those moves make me think they are getting Barker but just still not hearing anything.

If she wants to play in the W I’m not sure Vic is the coach for her though. Vivians is the only player of his I can remember impacting the next level. He’s definitely a college/defense coach and a very good one.

A lot of people miss the fact that some players will get recruited in spite of their coach, not because of them.

Thanks. I knew he coached her...just couldn't remember for how long. I just knew she hit the road after Texas scored 0 pots in the 4th quarter vs. SC in the E8 that year.

I think were seeing the NIL program working now so evidently there were some problems which Danny White has solved. I can't see anyway that a new coach could reel in these two players and the ones that are being mentioned without strong NIL backing. Just going to wait and see who comes on board next. Both these players are excellent around the basket and the mid-range. Super defenders with their biggest problem being at the free throw line. Were getting better with every commit could we still get King who is a big time scorer and Nye a three point specialist. Whitehorn defense and get to the basket. I think those three would make the 10 deep look really good next season in a very tough league.

Given that we got a couple of good young posts, she is definitely on top of my list. Disappointed about the ND visit only because two of the three sources quoted here that she was a get for UT were supposed to be always right. I hope they are. I do think ND being a possible Final 4 contender might add to their attractiveness given it it her last year in college.

We've got portal players before. The real test for the LV NIL will be HS prospects, imo. Will they pay the signing bonus required to sign elite HS girls. I am very impressed with the 2 that CKC has gotten to this point. Still lots of work to be done.

Hmm, Spencer shot 26% from 3 this year vs. Nye's 41.7%. Last year, Spencer was at 32.3% and Nye was at 45.1%.

hence why i said great NEXT choice. definitely nowhere near the shooter, but i like spencers game. arkansas is horrible for any player, i think she’d flourish in an actual offense.

Kim made some great pickups. I think Day-Wilson will thrive there, she is a little like Chloe Jackson and we know how that worked (really well)

Gilbert is gonna come off the bench and she’ll get sat back down if she plays ball hog ball. Kim doesn’t play, she’ll either join the system and be a good backup for Williams/Johnson or she’ll sit.

Shepphard is a nice player with a lot of upside, LSU will be tough again next season.

If ADR comes along like I think she will they will be excellent. Gonna have to try to get her in foul trouble.
