I’m thinking someone is “hired” already

And by “hired” I mean he knows who it’s gonna be, but we have to jump through the hoops.

My feelings exactly. Hope to hell this wasn't rash, and why do that? However, reading the words "coaching search beginning" are terrifying to me. Astonished he'd do this without a huge hire lined up. And maybe he has one, just waiting a decent amount of time.

If not, many of those celebrating should be very careful what they wish for.

I think he has to at least pretend to have a coaching search and wouldn’t want to disrespect Kellie by saying the search had already started. There would no class in rubbing dirt in her face with saying or implying it.

I think there are even laws about it lol. You have to open the position and entertain candidates generally. Even if you already have a really strong idea.

LOL if a big hire happens soon (and it absolutely MUST) I don't think anyone will be fooled about what has been going on.

We're at a tipping point folks. One more miss and the program is in deep danger of longterm mediocrity. We have to go beyond the typical up and comer or what was the point?

I think we struggle next season no matter what because it’s too late in the game, my focus is on Brooks and Chastain, that’s the only light at the end of the tunnel, but if they go I can’t see us winning anytime soon.

What in White’s history makes you think that’s the direction he’s going? The dude knows how to hire a good coach. He’s proven that time and again, at every stop he’s made. He knows what it looks like, I have faith he will be hiring someone who will make this a very competitive program again.

Nothing in his past says he’s going to hire a cheap up and comer for what he knows is probably the best job in women’s college basketball.

I get you are upset right now, and I get that, but I would wait till a decision is made before going full sky is falling.

I was just starting to research these players in the portal but it doesn’t matter now since we don’t even have a coach.

Agree would add Jill to the soft. Cant buy 6’5 and experience

However imo when u change over unless u have a replacement u want to keep everyone for options.
