You mean Auston Matthews or the Toronto Maple Leafs? A lot of stuff gets pinned on him, but the franchise he plays for hasn't won anything of importance in 58 years. They haven't even won a conference final since 1967 either.

People rip McDavid too for the same reason, but one of them had to win last night I guess.
