I wouldn't pick anyone that I'm choosing.
Right. If Sheffy and Z man are in the field, they are in your picks. But, I haven't been off to my typical start either. My approach to picks is usually pretty forgiving the first 8-10 weekends before all the big names become a regular thing. I get enough ahead in the points standing to take the abuse of my later picks. I've taken a beating myself so far, and am just now getting even close to the points cut-off. And I'm still prob one of the few regular players that has never won a weekend. Got on a roll last year, maybe two ago, and lost a tie breaker and finished top 3 several times. But, no cigars.

I'm just hedging on a hope that by now Spieth is running out of money and needs to feed his family and might actually show up and play. Not confident. But, hopeful. Maybe he needs a new shrink or a new swing coach. Scheff may be an iffy pick for his first weekend, but his 2024 performance says you atleast won't lose him to the cut. I did change mine to him.

You'd expect that hand surgery to done by the best in the world. He says no issues at all.
