Well, I picked Cole and he just got his first birdie on his 13th hole. He's been rather friendly with bogies and doubles though.
Otherwise decent 1st round going with plenty of strokes on the table if they'll get them.

He has maybe one or two top side tourneys a year. Rest of the time he's middling at best. Better choices when your just trying to make that pick that won't hurt you. Hoge is typically a safe bet in those regards.

The weekend Rory decides to be a pro golfer...I don't try picking him. Scheff not doing too bad, but card not clean enough for the birdies he did get.

Early cut line sitting at Even. As long as mt 1/3/4 golfers don't blow up, I'll for sure carry 3 over. Cole got get busy on his 2nd nine to hit the cut. He has battled back to +3, but I'll prob lose him.

It has since moved to -1. And quite a few still to get the round started. Not sure where it could end up, but afternoon scoring might be easier. Yesterday the afternoon scores were 2 strokes better than morning rounds. Would be surprised if it moved to -2 by end of day.

My picks sans Cole are doing pretty well so far. But, they like getting birdies on the same holes.

A perfect finish only nets me 6 more strokes so I'd be lucky to get 2 of them.

Hovland has been trash so far this season.

Might not be any runaway traines in here this weekend, except those that took Rory. No one picked up Spaun or MW Lee or Bhatia.

Top 3 on leader board were picked by no one in this crowd.

Sawgrass is always a tough place. Everyone at -5 or better should be feeling really good.
