I'm not watching any of it after last night. After Juju Watkins' unfortunate injury, I figure CT will easily sail into the FF, and once there, they'll be hard to beat. This is EVERYTHING to Bueckers. Everything. And she's way past due on being "The One" who will bring them their next championship. If anyone AT ALL shows up to help her score, they'll take it.

He was even nice to Holly Rowe. He’s like gentle ole grandpa. They are kinda due after all the injuries they’ve been through. The way Paige and Sarah Strong are playing I think they’d win this game even w JuJu

USC outplayed their expectations after Watkins went down imo. Just too much UConn for them.

Kk Arnold really did turn this around with her ball pressure. Their young ball handlers stopped getting it inside and started settling for jumpers. Watkins dominated the ball for them, especially in transition caught up to them today.

Not that it mattered in the end, but the FT shooting discrepancy was bonkers.

USC 23-26 FT
UConn 14-17 FT (though the last 3 trips were in the final 60 seconds — without that, UConn only attempted 11 FT all game)

Props to USC for shooting nearly 90% from the line as a team. Wow. It was making me nervous down the stretch. They just did not miss.

The Final Four of the WNIT is Wednesday:

Cleveland State vs. Buffalo
Troy vs. Illinois State

I gotta pull for Troy because they are always tough and well-coached. PLUS, former Lady Vol Alexus Dye ("Snoop") came to us from Troy, and I very much appreciated Dye's contribution to the program in the short time she was in Knoxville. Wonder how she'd doing? Anyone know?

I sure would like to see UCLA put it to UConn, just not sure that is going to happen. The USC / UConn game was at least fun to watch. The TCU / TX game was horrible. After the 1st half both teams looked gassed. I agree with a previous poster, if we had only been able to stay focused in the 4th quarter. . .
