I think the team and crowd are going to be in such a frenzy that the Pups aren't going to feel the buzzsaw that cuts them in half.I love that we get UGA early. They will be breaking in a new QB and Neyland will be jumping.
Without a doubt. I don't think this can be understated. UF might be improved though, but I like our chances way better late in the season when it won't be 95 and humidity off the charts. I think the odds of UF winning a fluke, ugly game would be far more likely in September as is tradition than November.How awesome is it getting Florida late. drawing them early has been the bain of our existence for 30 years. by the time we head to Gainsville Nico should be rolling and Billy may be on the out. Florida has another brutal schedule so I'm really liking our chances
I wonder what pie schedule the new darling of the SEC, Texas, got next year. I can’t imagine it can be more favorable than this season’s schedule.
It’s the same teams they played this year. TheWho is Texas sleeping with in the SEC office? WTH
They’d just have to beat one of them. South Carolina, Missouri, an unexpected one like this year’s upset of Alabama…there are options there.For real! From October 11th through the end of the season, they play:
Texas
@South Carolina
Ole Miss
@ Tennessee
Bye
@Alabama
Missouri
LSU
I mean, they literally did play them back to back at one point. They played Georgia followed immediately the next weekend by Florida in 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995 and 2014. And they played Florida followed by Georgia the next weekend in 2016 and 2018.There was a time when UT had Georgia and Florida almost back to back.
So for the record for those who like to compare our schedule with Texas, we play the following in common with Texas:Texas 2025 Schedule
Aug. 30 - at Ohio State Buckeyes
Sept. 6 - San Jose State Spartans
Sept. 13 - UTEP Miners
Sept. 20 - BYE
Sept. 27 - Sam Houston Bearkats
Oct. 4 - at Florida Gators
Oct. 11 - vs. Oklahoma Sooners (Cotton Bowl)
Oct. 18 - at Kentucky Wildcats
Oct. 25 - at Mississippi State Bulldogs
Nov. 1 - Vanderbilt Commodores
Nov. 8 - BYE
Nov. 15 - at Georgia Bulldogs
Nov. 22 - Arkansas Razorbacks
Nov. 29 - Texas A&M Aggies
