8 months pregnant, coaching one day and setting records. Recruiting the next and getting ready for the future. Kim has that work ethic Pat had. It’s why Pat could hold the bar so high for so long. She held herself to a standard she expected of everyone else.

When you’re setting that example it’s really hard for your players to give minimum effort. They see you, see your drive and know what is expected.

Kim doesn’t talk about it, she is about it.

Also, you think kids at that tournament weren’t excited to see her after seeing Tennessee set the record for threes in a game? The way she coaches is a shooters dream.

As was my Dad. Gunny. Retired after 22 years. Joined age 17, fought on Guam and Okinawa.
Hope your family is as proud of you as I was of him.

But recruits don't care anything about CKC setting 3pt records in year one because she did it against an inferior opponent..... 🙃

One of the nephews left to join the marines as an immature, entitled boy. He returned a responsible, considerate man. Being a marine is no joke. Proud for you!

How many teams do you think the SEC gets in this year? Usually we get about 7 in the tourney. I think we get 9 this season.

Tennessee, SC, Texas, Oklahoma, Kentucky, LSU, Alabama, Ole Miss, Miss St, Vanderbilt, and Auburn could all get in. Only Georgia, Florida, Arkansas, Missouri, and Texas A&M looked overmatched. I am saying ten as probably one of that 11 won't make it and my guess there would be Auburn.

funny how the announcer on TV said Tess Darby provide leadship . Both Kim and Kellie have noticed how team plays while Tess in the game. It's not always about who score the most points. It's about shooting percentage. And knowing when to pass up shot because the player knows that's a bad opportunity and if they worked the ball around they or a teammates might get a better shot.

Tess keeps the floor spread too, can’t sag off her, someone has to guard her or she’s gonna burn you
