2025 Recruiting

Boston was and will never be the better player, Reese came into the Sec and played a new position and put up historic numbers. Her number even went up during SEC play to 25/17 and still no award, she was also robbed of POY. but she won the most prestigious award anyway, Final Four Most Outstanding Player, have a nice day!
If I am recalling correctly, Reese was not eligible for the POY award because she had not met academic requirements. That was on her, and on Kim and her staff, for not having a handle on her academic situation.

Reese, IMO, doesn't have as "pretty" a post game as Boston, but there are few post players today who give more effort, or have more determination to succeed, than Reese. She is an absolute dog on the court, and always finds a way to GSD. Gotta respect that!

Yes, many of her rebounds are multiple put-backs after she's thrown shots toward the basket and missed, but that she does that is really beside the point. Her methods are a bit unorthodox, but her results are undeniably successful. And since the No. 1 goal is to finish each game than more points than the opponent, it doesn't have to look pretty as long as it works. Reese gets hers.

I believe most people here probably feel the same as I do. Nobody can deny she's a big-time player, and one of the most consistently effective in the game today.

I’ve never heard any confirmed reports that it was academic, either way the media doesn’t vote for her most of the time anyway unless she wins the Championship so I’ve accepted that.

Next Reese isn’t a natural post player like Boston, she’s only been a post player for 3 years, compared to Boston being a post player her entire life. Reese has just been a more versatile player and able to switch multiple positions over the last couple of years, guard/small forward at Maryland, Center at LSU and now power forward in the WNBA. Reese shot 52% during that historic season so. It sure about missing all these shots and putting them back while she was the shortest Center in the SEC at threat time, yes I looked up the heights. I don’t care what the haters think, people that know basketball know who the better and more versatile player is, Reese did all of that while shooting with her off hand, let’s see how successful Boston can be if she shot left handed.

It was announced today that there will be a celebration for McDAA Mia Pauldo. This event will take place in her hometown of Paterson, NJ at an area McDonald’s to celebrate Mia as only the 3rd player to earn the prestigious award as a HS All-American.
McDonald’s is selling Mia’s special MP3 meal. I only know of one other female athlete to have a McDonald’s meal. This is next level branding for the Pauldo twins as they near the final stretch of a legendary HS career in basketball.

GBO.

I don’t know if that’s considered a lot, but I would like to know what Juju and Hidalgo got as freshman, Chavez is a tier 1 recruit and she should be paid according to that.

I don't think any player in a sport that loses money should receive $1.5M. It's likely if the sport loses money that you aren't bringing in enough students to make up the difference.

Pauldo twins end up with third straight state championship last night with 65 to 34 win. Mia ends her high school career with 2128 points and 287 three pointers made. Mya 1538 points and 156 threes.

Any stats for the girls in the championship game?

Mya had a great tourney. Two really well rounded players, can’t wait to see what they do at UT.

Coming up April 3 through 5 are the Chipolte Nationals. I don't know if Morris Catholic will be in it. They should be since they are undefeated and ranked sixth nationally. Usually Espn+ has these games so we can look out for them in April. I am thinking that Deniya Prawls team should be in it also.
