You add a high rated HS talent that can be a day 1 starter (like Adams) and then another wing player that's a veteran (CBM technically fits) and that's going to be a really strong team. Still the looming uncertainty of 5th year and 15 spots...IF you get the 5th year then you bring back at least Gainey and we're cooking IMO...plus it makes quite a few portal prospects far more valuable as options too.

I doubt we can afford both CBM and Adams. I hope we grab Adams, but that would mean this team is relying a lot on freshmen to get us our first ever Final Four. I still think we need a veteran shooting guard to inject in this lineup, but none of the options out there are particularly exciting.

I think it's comparable. CBM is the veteran, and Adams is the young guy with skills. I hate to say it, but I would sign up for it.

Makes sense, since MSU was the other team along with Tennessee who were the runners up last time. Barnes really wanted him before, so hopefully he’s willing to pay a good chunk of that money we didn’t use for the other guys we missed out on.

On CBM, I can’t stand him. I also have to admit I remember all my Bulls fan friends whining about adding Rodman. He wasn’t a fit. I’d probably get over my contempt if he were our bad guy.

Yeah, I get it. I’m hoping a lot of that was just him trying to keep up with where he was supposed to be and not do anything to cost the team. I think he knew his role as someone who was just there to give starters a rest.

I’m in the dark today on any activity. My friend is off the grid til tomorrow morning. I don’t know if we’re pursuing him or not.
