I’m decently good with numbers and not too shocked by anything money related typically, but this just seems off to me, especially when taking into consideration what a top tier college football player makes and in relation to what the overall program revenue is.

I mean that's a subjective term... so no clue what you think overrated is compared to someone else.

I think ZZ is one of the best true PGs TN has ever had, but I also think his size was always a bit of a handicap. Bigger guards could shoot over him or back him down if isolated and he often couldn't get shots up over length.

BUT that makes the fact he was a career 11.3 ppg guy in the SEC and scored over 10 a game in 3 straight seasons in this league all the more impressive IMO.

It makes it sound like I’m hating on the guy and it’s not my intention. He’s a pretty good defender. You described his “weaknesses”, if you can call them that, pretty well.

At the very least he’s a leader and a culture setter that is irreplaceable. Just wish he could have shot better at times cause we all know UT needed it in some games.

But he’s a legend. It will be odd seeing UT without him now.

Anybody heard where Lindeborg might be leaning? Watched him in the AAC tournament and he looks like an NBA player. 6-9 and about 230. Good moves around the basket and can handle the ball. Was bringing it up the court a lot in the games I watched. The kind of offensive player inside that we could use but could use some of the defensive tutelage that Barnes can provide. Don’t know if he has the temperament to listen to Rick though. Would be interesting.

Yaxel Lenderborg would be the dream at the 4.
