Well with Fulwiley disputing the LSU visit rumors maybe she's still open, and maybe we do have a chance... Gosh could you imagine, if we were to land Fulwiley and Judd, with this existing portal and HS class, we would be a very deep talented balanced roster who could compete in SEC and MM.
It’s not a jab if it’s true. The article with a #7 ranking seemed like a good assessment and positive for Tennessee.7. Tennessee Lady Vols
Despite no Lady Vol playing more than 25 minutes per game in Kim Caldwell's system, the program did not suffer a significant loss in the portal. The core of Talaysia Cooper, Zee Spearman and Ruby Whitehorn appears set to return. Bringing in Janiah Barker from UCLA and Nya Robertson, a SMU transfer who averaged 18.5 points per game in the ACC, only makes Tennessee deeper. Caldwell also landed four top-50 recruits, led by No. 9-ranked Mia Pauldo from New Jersey. Previous rank: 8
Looks like ESPN has predictably joined the negative recruiting campaign with others. Shocking. I know. That first sentence is a jab. Fortunately, our coach already knows other programs will try to use the system as a negative. That's why she's packed her bag with actual stats and facts. Love that she covered this in the recent interview. Our program has held onto its core players better than almost everyone because our players love the system. You won't read that on ESPN though.
The proof is in the pudding. Most long time B-ball fans know what they've seen for years. They have their favorite coach and favorite teams and none of them played like the Vols. So, guess what ppl are very resistant to change good or bad. Most ppls answer is that's the way we always done it before and I want no changes. So, to me it's just not ESPN its most fans they want it to fail because they have it engrained in their mind the way they would run a basketball team and Kim's system will injure their idyllically team playing style in their own legend mind. At one time the 4 corners was unbeatable, get more than a 2-point lead go into the 4 corners started by UNC. Then they changed the rules shot clock. If Kim wins a Natty look for some to push for a rule of substitution numbers for time periods. Like I said humans hate change and will always react.7. Tennessee Lady Vols

I know never say never But they will never control substitutions for many reasons. #1 health and injury. It's a coaches different philosophies that allows for a lot of different players to perform in the sports. GLV moving on up ! CKC has enough athletes now to show if her stile can beat the best on a consistent basis. The proof is in the pudding. Most long time B-ball fans know what they've seen for years. Yep, after I posted that I thought about the fake injuries in football. I thought you know they said what if the fake was real and a guy tried to play hurt to keep his team from getting a timeout or sit out a series. After I thought about this any substitution rule would be a big hill to climb rule wise, like the fake injury.I know never say never But they will never control substitutions for many reasons. #1 health and injury. My question about Wolfenbarger is, if she had issues playing in the post at LSU, how would she work in our system?
Jersey would actually be a very good fit for this system, and I envision this is the type of of game that she theoretically should thrive in. The problem with LSU is they used her more as an inside player. She was serviceable, but that's not her bread and butter. On the flip side, Kim's style of play was very similar to Arkansas' when she was there, and she didn't do great. Had an ok freshman year, but totally ineffective her sophomore year. Part of the problem may have been that they had 3 ball dominant guards, so there was very little ball movement going on. I can see her being a solid rotation player, and at 6'5 she adds height and rebounding. You were right about Barker, what makes you say this about Jersey? More social media tea leaves?

If she plays as well in a sub role as she did there will be effective for us. 13 minutes 4.6 points and 3.6 rebounds 63 percent from the field. Those are good numbers for limited shots and minutes. My question about Wolfenbarger is, if she had issues playing in the post at LSU, how would she work in our system?

She was one of those tall players that said she was a guard, but demonstrated very little guard-like skills. Agree with LSU. Her FG% improvement was likely due to the fact that she never shot from beyond 5 ft of the basket. She wasn’t good on the perimeter at Arkansas either though. Her shooting wasn’t good and her handle isn’t tight. I think our current staff can make her a really good utility player if she can get her three pointer dialed in and work the glass.
Mulkey did us a solid and made her develop some inside game. Almost doubled her FG % and scored more in fewer minutes than at Arky
