2025 Transfer Portal

They are definitely making offers. Starting to wonder how many starting to get interesting.
I wish to high heavens there were a way to privately message people on this board, because while I would love to know who all you think have been offered, I don't think it's a good idea to put it out there publicly yet. Ya know?

She’s just quiet so no one knew. Looks like you’ve once again made it your biz to make contact
I follow many coaches, players and family members, that doesn't mean I talk to anyone in particular.

I have seen no negative posts from her or her family and until I do, I am convinced that when she posted she was happy to be in TN,,she is still happy to be in TN

get over yourself glv,,,my "biz" is my biz and you have NO knowledge of how deep it goes,,,quit hero-following me

Ole Miss had five hit the portal and have already committed three to take their place all far better than the ones that left. Tell players to hit the portal seems obvious as you already seemed to have players lined up to take their place.
Yep and yet several on here are critical of her. What she is doing this year is absolutely genius. Getting rid of your lowest 5 performers (none of the transfers were key players) and brining in elite players from the portal. She is a great coach and they are only going to get better.

How hard is it be better than players that didn’t play?
Every year Ole Miss does decent in the portal and a few people get on the forums to make it sound like a great portal class.
I don’t see not one elite player from the portal that has committed to OM.
Good for them.

I think Yo’s intentions are to replace non productive young players with players with some proven players with a few years experience? JMO

Oh dang, didn’t see that coming. She played excellent in the tournament. Hit another level, maybe for her own transfer stock. I just figured she was finally getting healthy.

With what they have leaving I’m surprised to see her go, it was poised to be her team essentially.

feel like she’d be a great fit for us.

Sorry, not to be too critical of Coach Yo but I haven’t seen her get an “elite” player yet out of the portal. Maybe soon.

Those stats are totally misleading. She missed most of last year due to an injury after an amazing start to that season. It took her much of this season to recover, but towards the end of the season she was playing great. In the NCAA tournament this year, she averaged over 13 points and 10 rebounds against elite competition (FSU, NC State, and UCLA), including 20+ points and 10+ rebounds in back-to-back games against NC State and FSU). She has two more years and is athletic. She does not have any rep of being one of Kim's problem children. I hope there is mutual consideration here.

The common denominator of the teams remaining in the tournament is they have penetrating guards.....If their guards fail to penetrate, they have a strong post presence that can play an effective inside short game...

Against us, Texas played their very effective guard penetrating motion offense, while most of our offense was a one on one, or more, game by our guards...Our 3 point shooting was hampered by their pressure on our 3 point line....

Coach Kim will bring in at least one quick mobile post player (hopefully 2) and a quick high scoring guard that can move her feet and has quick reflexes....

We all saw how offensively ineffective we were when our guards could not score....CK will do her best to have a more potent offense next season.

Our girls were gallant in defeat....Next season they will be more gallant in victory.

Fair to call that out, but looks like BC as a team was horrific defensively, so it's harder to gauge was that means for her as an individual defender. They were 337th in FG% defense and 303rd in points allowed per game. That said, she was near the bottom of her team in defensive win shares and defensive rating - but again, their best player (who played any real minutes) had a 0.03 defensive win shares/40 minutes, whereas our worst player had 0.02 (Spear) and everyone else was above that. So, just tough to compare.
This, I have zero concern she brings in anyone that is a downgrade defensively from the two with which she was compared.
