2025 Transfer Portal

Q won't be missed by me, frankly.

I think Ice could really come into her own next season. She made some mistakes this tourney but also had a big game against UCLA (along with Jana). Plus she has had success in the past. I hope she sticks around.

Samuels was just a distraction, I’m sure she’s gone. I’ve just never seems to have gotten it figured out all the way. Geno seems chronically discouraged by her minutes which is why I think she might transfer.

Fair. I guess I'm just more hopeful Ice stays because some UConn fans were saying the same about Jana and then she absolutely balled out against UCLA and now they've switched their opinion. Lol. I have seen people suggesting it would be Allie Z. That wouldn't shock me. She didn't get a lot of playing time at all this year (IIRC she got less than Morgan Cheli).

It's usually sad -- at least to me -- when bench players leave. Like, I absolutely understand their POV and I want them to succeed elsewhere. But also you get attached to them and know when they're good young women.

Absolutely right, you are. Who determines “fair market value”? Last I heard, the point where the supply and demand curves cross is called market equilibrium. When a buyer and a seller reach agreement, there is a market transaction. Leave it to the NCAA to try to reinvent that wheel.

You are assuming a rational marketplace😆

Does anyone have any intel on which programs Avery Strickland might be interested in if there's mutual interest? Most may disagree, but I could imagine Kristy Curry at Alabama being someone who, like me, could see the "dawg" in Ace. She's similar to Loretto, Tenn., native Karly Weathers, and Curry has done well with her.

I'm guessing many people here see her as a mid-major prospect, and you could be right. But I don't think we've seen the best of Strckland yet, and I hope she lands somewhere she'll be appreciated. I was always impressed by her motor.

Our staff moving in silence this year. No follows, no hints, no nothing. They learned that everyone and their momma will negatively recruit against Tennessee if they know your targets.

Hope we land some really talented kids. I’m dying to know if Kneepkens is on the table for us. Her game just suits us perfectly. Would be a huge upgrade shooting guard, she has deep range and moves so well without the basketball. Has been playing a high octane, high three offense for years at Utah. Just really talented.

MSST having a rough offseason. I don’t think Purcell has the sauce. Seems like a nice guy but too much of a people pleaser. Should have stayed an Associate HC.

Same with Harris, glad to see her go back to that role. That’s where someone like her can make the most impact. Not every assistant is meant to be a head coach.

Just ask Holly.
Sam thought he’d be in Auburn right now. He never anticipated that Auburn administration would look at the salary he was making at Mississippi State and decided to go cheaper without formally interviewing him.

That's what that third party is in charge of monitoring and enforcement of more than $600 NIL isn't just playing players to play.
Ten conferences have agreed to the cap .
In the agreement I read a few articles any deals over $600 must be approved as fair market value advertising or appearance fee's.
Like Texas A&M was giving money to walk-ons football
is done.
Any university's paying all players a set amount in NIL deal
Would go against the cap. If third party monitoring said it's basically pay for play.
I also read university's are hiring people to manage what their paying to their players the value in their cap spending.
If they try to invalidate an NIL deal for being “above the market rate,” they will get sued into oblivion. you are worth whatever the market says you are worth. This clearinghouse is not going to mean very much in the long run.
