Why would you be pissed? I clearly heard the whistle and saw the ref running onto the field, waving his arms, signaling a dead ball. Mizzou QB obviously saw it the way he quit playing. Bama took a cheap shot.
I didn't hear a whistle live or on the replay and neither did the commentators nor was there a flag visible. Cook looked like the only one that stopped play live and in the replay. That was poorly officiated all around as even if they did signal it was way after the clock had hit zero(which was before the snap).

Delay of game, refs blue whistle, Mizzou stopped playing, Bama didn’t and took a cheap shot. I’m glad they called that unnecessary roughness penalty.

Had to! Offense does not get a do over due to the noise. If the ref said he blew the whistle, which he must have for the QB to drop his arms, then it was a late hit. Crowd gets some credit for this call for sure. Risk/reward to the noise thingy. Pretty sure there is no allowance for noise impact in the rule book.

I did hear the whistle and saw the ref waving his arms. Watch the replay. Obviously, Cook did as well with the way he stopped.
