Maybe I'm a douche, but I'm not a fan of most comedies. There are exceptions (office space for example), but most are garbage.

I think most movies in general are garbage. Maybe I'm the problem here.

Off topic, but it's a damn shame that many people today perceive Cage to be a terrible actor. His roles early on in his career were top-notch. Many pictured him being the next Nicholson or Brando. He's just been involved with so many garbage films the last 15 years.

Other than that, I can't think of any roles where I was impressed by him.

Dead Alive is a great chick flick. It's all about love, romance, respecting your elders, etc.
