Tradition. They’ve had the rock M there for a long time.

The freshman players all white-wash the rocks that make that M their first year on campus. And at the end of the year each of the seniors take one of the rocks that make up the M home with them as like a graduation memorabilia.


(Think of it like if each senior player at UT were able to take a chunk/square from the checkerboard endzone with them when they graduated from the program)

Was referencing from their fanbase standpoint. It’s what LSU does man. This is only year two, isn’t it? They’re probably stuck with him just due to the value of his contract. I’m judging that on last year and this year. We’ve no showed 3 times on the road since last November. We were also lucky to get out of Pitt w/ a win bc we tried to give that game away too. LSU is the one exception from last year and this year.
