Who knows. It has been well documented that the refs have been instructed this year to make more of a conscious and deliberate effort to call the game to the rule book.

Great, we have some refs that cannot keep up with two things at once. Jump ball possession is a pretty simple concept.

It was their ball. I don't agree that a team should get the ball if they get it stuck in the rim but... We got the possession after the technical because the ball was in the air when the technical was called. They just never changed the arrows. The new technical rules are... um...technical.
