#23 Vanderbilt @ #14 Tennessee Game Thread 7:00 EST/ESPNU

What a pathetic, listless effort by Tennessee in that second half.

And why in the fricking world did Pearl play so much? Same with McBee. They both SUCKED in the second half.

Because Hopson had 4 fouls before the first TV time out in the second half....at least McBee.

As for Pearl, your guess is as good as mine.

I'm just going to say this: Pearl better light a fire under these players and kick them around. We better kill Florida on Sunday. I'd honestly be disappointed if that's not a 10-15 point win or higher.

I'm kinda just starting to think they're worn. They had to all play alot more due to less players after the suspensions and they're also having to rely on a handful of walk-ons - and if you get a good game with them, you're going to get some bad ones too

I just think they're running low on steam

semms like it,I think goins and tatum will be seeing more playing time soon

If that is the reason then it won't get any better...

I think this team is in trouble. We had a good run for four games, but that seems to have run its course. I think Vanderbilt is VERY well coached. TN's recruiting classes have ranked higher than Georgia's and Vanderbilt and we lose both games? I'm sorry but when I looked at this schedule to start the season, these are TWO games that I marked down as a win. To lose on the road to Georgia then come back home and not defend the homecourt vs Vanderbilt stinks. If Tennessee isn't careful they will find themselves as a 4 or 5 seed for the conference tournement.

i think they're really just out of steam from having to play so hard short handed as well; they've had to give it more than their all for 5 or 6 straight games and that takes its toll on a team with fewer players

they're having to play walk-ons consistantly each game as well because of the incident - and playing with walk ons at best gets you as much bad as good; they just ran out of steam

Normally, I would have been streaming it, but I'm out of town right now (Grandmother passed away today), and I won;t be home to stream Sat's game either.

Jeep, it certainly is much appreciated what you do. Sorry for your loss. Warmest thoughts to you and your family at this time.

We can't beat the zone d, AND Chism keeps lobbing bricks from the 3 point line. The only way we can get better is to improve at the free throw line and create fast break opportuinites. That was pitiful losing at home to Vandy after getting killed by GA. I hope Bruce can find a way to get it back on track.
