I once had to go to Naperville for a convention (yeah, I probably should have quit my job when they sent me to Crap-erville, but that's an otter story). We went out to a bar one a couple of nights we were there, and I was wearing an Iowa hoodie, bince it was cold, and liek half of the waitresses and bartenders I talked to were either Iowa students, or Iowa grads. Many lulz were to be had.

Exactly this;

Around 35-40% of the students are from Chicago and the Chicagoland area. It's only a few hours drive from the city and while still a B1G school its a little easier to get into then Illinois or Wisconsin. Plus a lot of these kids come from fairly well off families. While wealth doesn't mean the kids will be good looking it certainly doesn't hurt.

Also there are just a lot of German and Scandinavian blood up there so if you like blondes, you're in for a treat. Americas best kept secret.
