#24 Florida @ Texas A&M

True.

I would hate to see Muschamp go so soon though. :p

He doesn't seem to be that great of a coach so I wouldn't mind him lasting a few years in Gainesville.

It's year 2 for them, it'd take about a 4 to 5 win record or worse for him to get let go of this early

Plus if they start off 0-2, then there's a chance that later on any of their results vs USCe or UGA could actually serve to benefit us

(that and theyd need TN to lose 3 games with the way the tiebreaker works)

Florida just doesn't seem to have the same confidence and body language on offense or D that I am used to seeing.

How much is his buyout ?

No idea but if he doesn't get it fixed, I'd pay whatever it took to get him out of town. I've heard Florida has been down in depth but so what... they still have a lot of talent, especially on defense. If he's a .500 coach with the current talent he has, I'm not sure he's cut out to coach in the SEC or maybe be a head coach at all. Granted, it's not his fault he has horrible QB's but still, his defense alone should be able to win games. Find it hard to believe they can't find a QB to manage games with all the talent they have on D.

Yeah, HG has started a Pete Carroll campaign...

Florida's defense looked awful on that first drive. I'm encouraged by that fact, because our offense >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> A&M's offense. If they continue to look that bad, I'm going to start wondering just how many points we can put up against them next week.

Meyer also left the team an absolute mess when he left

Maybe so but struggling with Bowling Green in year 2 leaves little to be desire. First game of the season so I won't look into it too much but you start wonder. You'd think any average coach could handle Bowling Green with the talent Florida has. Meyer couldn't possibly have leaft them with talent on par of Bowling Green.

Florida's O not looking too bad though.

Hopefully it's because they planned out the first drive and it will start to fall apart as the game goes on.

Hopefully it's just proving Big 12 defense is horrible.

It's been the case in the past. Oklahoma went from lighting up the Big 12 and breaking the NCAA record for points scored in a season to scoring 14 points against Florida in the championship. Same thing happened to Oregon when they played Auburn in the championship and Auburn's defense wasn't even that great. SEC D seems to be on another level for the most part.

idk whats up with porter but they led the nation in sacks last yr im not taking their defense lightly

Counts for jack when you've got a two month break between games. Might as well be a whole offseason at that point.
