#24 Florida @ Texas A&M

UF Defense is holding A&M here in the 2nd half but they are forcing them to be one dimensional. If UT can manage to run the ball somewhat effectively, then UF defense may be on the field quite a bit next week.

It can't just be somewhat; it's got to be there all game

Also, isn't one of our problems still (including this game) getting our running to game to just that

H-ll of an effort by A&M on that punt return...only just got them 3-5 yards past the 20, but still

I understand that but if they can just be somewhat effective with that with some decent gains...for positive yards and offer some balance next week then Bray and Co. may have a good day but it will still be a tough game next week.

I'm not expecting Neal or Lane to rush for 100 but just give the offense a chance of not being blitzed every other down.

Yes it was and hopefully it will provide a spark to the A&M offense.

they have to pass the ball

if they just keep running/short passing and then the QB deciding to run...they're not going to be able to move the ball

At least he didn't gain a "tough" -5 yards.

You're still missing the point. The A&M returner dragged and pushed about 5 or 6 guys and kept moving forward.

The UF returner muffed a punt with no defender within 10 yards.

Well it looked like A&M was going to get to start around their 30, but a block in the back pushes them back inside the 20, again

Looks like the UF defense is going to be banged up quite a bit by the end of this game. Hope everyone is 100% by next week and for the rest of the conference schedule.

it's looking to mostly be heat cramps

A&M fans keep booing as UF players go down...theyre starting to think they're doing the "fake injury to slow down the gameplay" thing

Aggies follow up the long stoppage in gameplay with a false start

Geez the A&M QB had like 15 secs (exaggerated) to throw and didnt have the confidence to throw it anywhere

then he got startled and started to run on 3rd and 13

I've been to both College Station and Gainesville. They are both pits of hell per summer heat. No excuses for UF per cramps -- that just translates to me as lack of depth and/or out of shape starters.

probably the latter, but doesnt how dry or humid the heat is factor in as well?

nice stop by A&M but committed a face mask

Now we get to hear from UF fans how they are going to "own" Tennessee in Knoxville next week. Their D is very good and their offense is almost anemic. Of course, most UF fans live in fantasy land.

I'll give them credit for winning 7 in a row over us but the talent gap has been large until this year.

Unbelievable second half by the Gators. CWM made some very good adjustments. The Gators are serious contenders for the East.
