Tigers out shoot Belmont 56% to 36% from the field and 56% to 20% from 3pt range and very lucky to be up 7. Pasner will not get it done at Memphis. Can't coach D or effort. Belmont out rebounded them 19-14. With those athletes that's all effort.

Joe Jackson is legit and Witherspoon is a 4* player that coach Cal brought in his final year at Memphis. I will say this is one of Witherspoons better games.

As bad as Belmont was on D in the first half, they're still in this. As long as Belmont's still Belmont they'll tighten up on D and make this a very interesting game.

Belmont under 40% from the field, 20% from 3, about 7-9 TOs and Memphis isn't playing D? C'mon.

The only reason that Belmont kept it as close as they did is that Simpson and Black got 2 fouls early. Let Belmont get back via offensive boards.

Seemed to me Belmont sat back and allowed the outside shot by design. Witherspoon made them pay for that gameplan for a half. Let's see if they adjust or hope memphis goes cold.

This was silly on almost all fronts. Mphis D sucks. Execution is laughable.
