ESPN typically rates us the lowest of all the major ratings services. In his class Nico doesnt even make the top 5 QBs. That tells you all you need to know about accuracy of ESPN ratings.Has anyone ever compared the rating systems to see which is more accurate? We are 10th 247 but espn has us out of the top 10 just seems the evaluations are much different.
On3 and 247 use a composite. I think they weigh different rankings differently.Has anyone ever compared the rating systems to see which is more accurate? We are 10th 247 but espn has us out of the top 10 just seems the evaluations are much different.

ESPN is the least accurate of the recruiting sites. They have less resources and research. They have few staff members or contributors compared to the others. The worst thing about 247 or On3 composites is that they include ESPN's rankings. Example: Nico is a 5* according to Rivals, 247, and On3. All three have him as the #2 player in the country. ESPN says he's a 4* and the #32 player in the country. Hobbs is a 5* top 20 player according to On3 and 247. Rivals has him a 4* at #55. ESPN has him at #160.
ESPN has and always will suck at recruiting rankings. Mostly just ranked by one guy there who may or may not have seen film on the guys he ranks.Has anyone ever compared the rating systems to see which is more accurate?
