Way too early for this. A lot will change between now and then. They must not have anything better to do.

Its a pretty unscientific way of doing it. They basically took every player with a 60% or more crystal ball to a given school and added them to their current commits.

There are a lot of guys we have a legitimate shot with who aren't 60% to UT right now.

True and by the same criteria we would not have had Drew Richmond, Darren Kirkland or Shy Tuttle in the fold at this time last year. 247 gets desperate for material this time of the year.

All I know is we had better finish with a top 10 class at the very least. If we don't, I'll have Tuurrry Ped-go personally call Butch over and over, plus write him hundreds of personal letters. Listening and reading all of his "golden" stuff will be punishment enough for ole Butch.

Top 15 is what I'm expecting. We got a couple of guys that are due a bump, and if Tadarryl Marshall replicates his 2014 season its going to be
hard to deny him his 4th star.

And WRT to Emmons, there was a Georgia guy on the board last week that was adamant that he was headed to Juco, and thats why UGA
backed off. Who knows, Butch is more creative than Richt.

Anyway, this staff has demonstrated that they are better than average at talent evaluation so I'll suppress my star gazing for the meantime.

Agree ,prospects will change their mind after watching the Vols turn last year's score around on the sooners! We know noting is definite "til that LOI is faxed in. :no:

We will be just fine. I predict a top 10or 12 finish. Only reason it won't be top 5 again is the lack of numbers. 2017 should be back in top 5 especially with all the in state talent

I think this year we will finish right around 8-12. 2017, depending on how we do this year and expectations, we will be a legit contender for top class overall.

top ten will be tough. but putting florida ahead of us is ****ing bull****. thise dumb mother truckers at 247 need to talk to a shrink.

iiiiid wager to bet we end up top 10. this 'small class' stuff is just horse shiyat. butch will find a way

There are so many undecided prospects out there with lots of star power, and a season that'll undoubtedly produce as many surprises as it will no brainers, so it's just far too early to take recruiting rankings seriously. 247, Rivals, Scout, ESPN, et al, compute * totals out of the highest ranked 20 players.Thus it's who Butch ultimately determines the best fit (those he signs) that will determine the success of that recruiting class. Ending up in the top 10 with 3 each stellar LBs, RBs and WRs, 1 QB, 4 each DL, OL and DBs, 2 or 3 TEs and then a probable game changing can't-pass-up athlete-or-more whenever available...at that point will tell us if the depth monster will be our friend. Midway through the season, ratings will begin to appear rational. 'Til then, everybody's speculating. UT wins 10 and I'll project top 5. JUST WIN, BABY!

They're just trying to come up with new content for the off-season. What they should do is compare and contrast come Feb with this list.

Honestly I wouldn't mind if they did this every month, sort of as a which team is trending on the crystal balls.

Of course the whole CB thing is completely skewed based on amount of homers that can CB for each team, or the fact that I am sure most CB's when first made go towards the home team.

Why all the finish around 10th talk I thought rivals only counted top 20 players and we will sign 20 to 22. I think we can finish around 5 to 7 again if we get alot of the elite players we are on

Rank 15 is realistic, especially given the class size and our current commitments.
