I think how we do this season will really help our recruiting. Captain obvious I know. I expect us to win the east or be second and I think that will help our percentages go up with some of our recruiting . I think we finish top 10 again .

A little perspective:

At this time last year, we had 8 guys committed (five 4*s, two 3*s, and one 2*).

We currently have 12 guys committed (six 4*s and six 3*s).

Also, last year it was in late June/early July that Kamara and Kahlil committed. Lots of time to go.

If we don't oversign I think top 15 is pretty realistic. If Butch lands a top ten class and only take 17 kids, I think that's best case scenario.

Well we aren't taking nearly as many this year and the class overall just doesn't look as good.

If we get a rank any lower than 7 this year, I will run around The Fort area in Knoxville butt ass naked.

Honestly I wouldn't mind if they did this every month, sort of as a which team is trending on the crystal balls.

Of course the whole CB thing is completely skewed based on amount of homers that can CB for each team, or the fact that I am sure most CB's when first made go towards the home team.

I'd actually be kinda curious to see how often they got it "right" vs not with the Crystal Balls, even if they are kinda gimmicky.

You can't name one team or dynasty that didn't have consistent top classes. There is no one who can.

How many dynasty's can you name? Top classes don't have to have top 3 classes every year. There really is little difference in the 3rd-10th ranked classes.

Boise State has won more games than any other program the last 10 years...

I've missed Dom too.

And he's right. You guys kid yourselves if you don't need top 5 classes to win Nattys. We're not talking about flash in the SEC east and get steamrolled by the Auburn/Alabam/LSUs in the title game type of team Butch is building. That's for Mizzou. He's swinging for the upper decks. And you NEEEEEEED top tier classes for that. NEED.

All that said we could finish 10-12 this cycle and id be satisfied with that, honestly. I'm realistic too.

Filling needs with quality players is more important than what rivals says about our class. Sometimes you have to take a smaller class with potential down the road. That certainly doesn't mean we can't win it all.

All I know is we had better finish with a top 10 class at the very least. If we don't, I'll have Tuurrry Ped-go personally call Butch over and over, plus write him hundreds of personal letters. Listening and reading all of his "golden" stuff will be punishment enough for ole Butch.
