Friends on VN-I don't know if chrismc1000 is just trolling or if he cannot read, but he continues to maintain in this thread that I called the contest over on January 8th based on rumor. He is the only, the only person who does not get that several sources confirmed on January 8th that Jim Chaney would go to Tennessee as OC. No, he was not hired on January 8th, Pruitt did not announce until the next day, and the university did not announce until the next day. Contest stated that the winner would be based on "the name of the new OC and the day he is first announced as OC on VN". The announcement below is just one of three sources that confirmed Chaney's return to Tennessee. Rocky Top Talk, GoVols247, and ESPN all confirmed that Chaney was returning. This news was reported on Vol Nation on January 8th, so I called the contest. For me this is a matter of chrismc1000 challenging my integrity, and I will not allow that. So, if anyone knows this clown, please read to him Chris Low's confirmation below. When rumor, speculation, and reporting turned to confirmation and the news was reported on VN on January 8th, I called the contest and Evol was the winner.
