What I find so odd about all the Kentucky fans complaining about their opponents getting all the calls from the refs is that the numbers do not support their claims. I did a little research, and in Kentucky's last five games they have shot 138 FT's versus their opponents only shooting 78. For all of you math majors out there that is a 60 FT advantage for Kentucky. The proof is in the pudding Kensucky. Accept that Tennessee was the better team that night and move on.

P.S. Don't be surprised to see Kentucky go 2 and done in the NCAA Tournament. No bias refs in those games. You heard it here first.

this isnt a case where you're coming in to save some poor KY fan being picked on by big bad rivals after a game

Thats a little mis-leading. This Kentucky team is built to draw fouls, with two lottery picks down low, and Orton coming off the bench, our size is unmatched. Couple that with the fact that we constantly try to run our offense through the post with Cousins, and Wall and Bledsoe getting to the rim at will (most often), the free throw advantage will always be in our favor.

Thats nothing to do with biased refs, it is mostly due to the type of system that is in place.

Please note before you start spewing out words like Troll, I am not making excuses. The loss of the game had nothing to do with the refs, we never even showed up to play, and should have just stayed on the bus.

Just don't try to manipulate numbers to mean something they necessarily are not.

I have followed Coach Cal since he was at Memphis, and I don't recall his system there ever drawing that huge of FT advantage. System is the same, and coach is the same. Only difference is now it's a big time program and not a CUSA team. Good try though. :clapping:

There you have it. 4 straight years in the top 16, 3 of the rankings 1st and 2nd in FT's attempted. I don't know what program you were following, but it sure the hell wasn't Memphis.

In this current season with Kentucky, they are ranked #24th, which is substantially less than his Memphis teams.

Also, much to your distaste, It has been noted and professed aloud by Calipari that he has never had the options down low that he has on this team. He didn't recruit Patterson, nor Orton. He has said many times (along with many others in the media) that he has no choice but to run the offense down low with all those options.

The research was done and it turns out that they are actually only running the Dribble Drive Motion offense 30% of the time.

So don't try to be coy with me. You obviously don't have the first clue WTF your talking about.

I don't claim to be intelligent. I don't have a college education. I have never been to a Ky. baskettball game.Ihave been a UK fan since 1959 and always will be. Ihave lived a pretty happy life I own my house have raised 8 children. not all mine have 3 adopted now 8,9 and 11 year old am I have three foster children.Am I dumb? Maby so but I'm still happy and I have been reading these boards for years and I know cry babies and it gets worse after every game on every board so keep crying and I'll keep reading

I stand corrected O master of Google and time management. It only took you 20 minutes to do your research. It is a shame that your scheme of free throws failed you. Maybe a little work on jump shots would serve you better than depending on foul line trips.

Also, it only took me 5 minutes to pull those stats. The other 15 were spent looking for one of my house shoes. Damn Min-Pin's are hell.

Whatever, if you guys were better why not overcome adversity? Not saying that UK isn't loaded but come on, really? Get over it, you guys won't win the SEC tourney either because you already have a 1 seed locked up and no one on that team including CJC cares about showing up for it. As for UT, they've done more with less than any team in the NCAA this year and you're probably right we'll most likely be out in the 2nd or 3rd round but hey we had a fun year.
