UF can play with anyone if they'll keep Boynton and Walker from shooting too much. Even when those guys shoot well, they can hurt the team. Let Tyus and Macklin loose early and the game changes. Very few in the AA can handle even decent post play.

Doesn't have one. He really channeled some effort against a really weak front line. Macklin's no show was inexcusable.

He was confused by the double teams all night long. Mack likes that hook shot in the paint, and BYU brought the double team towards Mack's shoulder closest to the paint. We never figured it out.

BYU was determined to have FLA beat them with the 3 tonight. Have no clue how many 3's both teams shot, but it was a ton.

Jax sports talk radio was saying this week that, as Gators, they'd rather lose to BYU in the Sweet 16 than lose to FSU in the Final Four. A Bama guy felt differently when offered a Final Four loss to Auburn, but like us, Bama hasn't been to the Final Four.

BYU took 38 3PT(made 10) while UF took 34(made 11).........Maklin had 9pt 6Reb 3ast 3stl( 4-5 from the field) when he touched the ball he scored...IMO more on the PG and Billy than Macklin not showing.
