It's kind of obscure, but if you want to see a really good golf movie, go find Dead Solid Perfect with Randy Quaid. I don't think it was even released in theaters. It was made for either Showtime or HBO I think.

it's an HBO film based off a book (by the same name I believe). As far as "movie about golf", this movie is second to none. However, as movies with golf themes go, Caddyshack and Tin Cup are just too enjoyable to watch over and over and over.
