It means she's from rural East TN...what do you think? She has educated parents, didn't grow up poor.

Anyway knowing the climate of where she was raised, I'm surprised she's becoming a moma without being married and is in an interracial marriage. Not being judgemental concerning either of these issues as they are personal choices for the individuals involved. The bible belt as a whole doesn't share my beliefs however hense my earlier surprise.
