NCAA is a joke.

I don't care if he made millions signing autographs, that would not bother me.

But this makes the AA look like such a joke. More than usual.

The school issued a statement Wednesday saying it declared the Heisman Trophy winner ineligible and that the NCAA agreed to reinstate Manziel after he sits out the first half against the underdog Owls

It's all about getting this story out of the news cycles ASAP, which will probably happen. They've looked like **** through this and want to to quietly go away.

The reasoning they gave is exactly what they have been doing for years up until recently. The NCAA is about to become extinct if they don't make drastic changes.

So did they find him partially guilty of it? I don't understand this lol. AJ Green missed 4 games for selling his jersey, JM gets half of 1 cupcake game? Smh.

Really. I would like to know what he did that warrants a 30 minute suspension. Either you broke one of their stupid rules or you didn't. What rule do you break that gets you 30 minutes?

Couldn't agree more. The big 5 (ACC, SEC, PAC12, BIG12, B1G) are going to secede and run things their way. College football has out grown the NCAA.

NCAA got caught selling his jerseys on the NCAA site for money it was then down hill for the NCAA... What could they really say.. They ready for this go GO Away 30 min ought to do it. Monday's a new day

In my opinion, the NCAA suspects that he violated the rules but just cant prove it (or be bothered to investigate further). The NCAA has looked terrible throughout this entire "investigation" and just wants to sweep this issue under the rug. Also, we know damn well that the NCAA wants Manziel to play in the Alabama game. Apparently, they just decided to give out a meaningless suspension to show that they took some sort of action.

Things have come full circle. Schools need to get back to cheating full scale again, the AA is like a Bama fan, toothless.

They tried being drastic and giving themselves "emergency" (undefined) powers during the Penn State punishment and the later Miami investigation...it got them in a worse position than they were in previously
