All of our fans that support Milton and don’t understand the criticism need to watch this game, and understand why a quarterback that can make plays on their own is so important in college football. If Dylan Gabriel (who by the way, was mentored for two seasons by Josh Heupel) doesn’t have the athleticism to scramble around in the pocket… They lose.

That "injury" timeout on Texas's last drive was huge. It stopped the clock, keeping time for OU's last drive, and it stalled out Texas's drive. If it was a real injury then boy was it the luckiest and best-timed injury imaginable.

Not only that, but it is not Lebby’s system. Lebby is a Heupel disciple. And Gabriel is a kid heupel found amd mentored for 2+ seasons. Every qb Heupel has ever had for a couple of years (except for Milton) has become a superstar
