4-0 FL vs. 5-0 LSU game thread

In the meantime, glad to see two more ACC defenses going at it at FSU game. 28-28 at the half.

They are just terrible.

Agreed. Says something about all the confidence in Brantley that we keep hearing about.

Good point. Instead of letting a medically cleared 22 year senior team leader attempting to win a National Championship make his own decision to play a night game at #4 LSU's Tiger Stadium, he shouldn't have played in order to preserve the public's perceived confidence of Urban in a confident, patient, accomplished( high school), team oriented underclassman.

Genius recommends the vol approach. Let words, feelings, bashing and hope ,NOT WINS AND LOSSES, decide who is successful and worthy.

while you like to believe that Tebow is a god, he's not. one more hit and he could have been done. there was a spotlight on brantley all week, Gator fans were talking him up, so all papa was saying was that its odd that he didn't play, especially at the end.

all "medically cleared" means is that tebow can follow a finger with his eyes and tell the doctor that he's feeling fine. if brantley was really as good as people were saying, then it woudl have made sense to have him play instead.

BPV is right. Florida completely changed their game plan and their offense struggled a lot. It isn't like he was 100%, and Meyer certainly knew that.

FYI, they also won the game and 14 before that.

But, I understand that to some vols, that is not the point. Wishful thinking, bold words without actions, future 16-18 year olds, multiple fictitious future SEC titles and whining about the media and the officiating are the only truly important categories this year.

imo, his parents or another adult (i.e. non-nuzzling coach) should have told him to stay out of the game... that was a vicious hit he took 2 weeks ago...

I understand the type a, competitive personality, but is it worth it if you're disabled 10-20 years from now because you played too early?

yawn :snoring:

Florida played a good ball control conservative game. 3 mistakes though. If you are trully conservative, you must kick the FG, don't go for 4th down. The missed TD pass in the third was just terrible. UF needs better red zone execution. WTH is with the pass call with under 5 minutes to go? Coaching brain fart right there.

But UF looks like a championship team to me. That defense is ridiculous. LSU = 161 yards and 3 points.

UF now is #1 in total defense, #1 in yards per play allowed, #1 in scoring defense, #1 in TD's allowed, #1 in PE defense...
