4 Alabama players arrested

I did post 8 games. I guess you showed "math is hard." MTSU was played twice. Yes, you played (3) good games in week one over the last 11 years. Stop acting as if it is every year. You play a tough game in week one 27.2% of the time! Shut the f*** up!

Please go to your own Alabama Football website where fans can compare mullets and send dirty pictures back and forth with their sisters.

And VTech was not that good the yr they played and will suck next yr.. No way would Saban Play home and homes with Oregon, then Okl and Nebraska.

Va Tech was ranked #10 in both polls at the end of '09. But nice flame attempt.

Saban is a very smart man, he does not need to Oregon, OK, or Nebraska. He prefers to beat on OOC opponents in Atlanta and Dallas, both cities that are in states flooded with football talent. It's a very smart move on his part.

Didn't have to count. Given that I knew the three games without needing to look them up, I knew that your math was wrong. It wasn't hard.

Since you're done debating a point you were clearly wrong about, I think it's fair to mention that Bama's next 3 seasons begin with Va Tech, West VA, and Wisconsin. That's opening games against OOC BCS opponents in 6 of 8 years. I'm sure your team has done that and more, right?

I will give you the next three years. Those are quality OOC opponents. We are going to Oregon next year as an OOC game. They came to us in 2010. Since 2006 (far as I went back) we have had home / home series with Oregon, UCLA, and CAL. Also played NC State (who everyone said would beat us) and NIU, Southern Miss as well as Air Force.

We have had some good quality OOC games as well. We certainly did not have to considering how brutal that the East has been lately. Not to mention we do play Bama yearly and have drawn LSU the last couple of years as well. No secret that our schedule has been a gauntlet the last couple of years. Doesn't help that we have been down

UT has scheduled quality OOCs, no doubt.

From 2007 thru 2017 Bama has played, or will play, Florida St, Clemson, Va Tech twice, Penn St twice, Michigan, WVU, Wisconsin, and Michigan St twice. I don't think anyone can honestly say that we've avoided quality competition.

Big Ten football is not quality competition.

Says the guy whose team bought out a mid-tier ACC team.

I didn't buy out anybody.

I am just saying you can't say you are playing a tough out of conference schedule by playing Big Ten teams. The Big Ten is not very good. Not one of their teams would have finished in the top half of the SEC last year.

It is actually a good strategy. Play weak teams who are ranked high. This can do nothing but help your BCS ranking.

If we were only talking about last year, you would be spot on. But each year is different. The Big 10 is rarely the worst major conference like they were in 2012.

Strangely I have to side with bamawriter here.

Big Ten is not a "weak" conference usually. And comparing them to sec...not really saying a lot. There are plenty of very good teams that would "suck" in the sec.

Statement from Alabama: Eddie Williams, D.J. Pettway, Tyler Hayes and Brent Calloway no longer enrolled at UA.

Hate to see them go but they deserved to be kicked out of school

absolutely. Not only did they rob a kid on campus, but it was one of their fellow students. Cant keep those kind of people in school, puts the rest of the student body in danger. Weve had our fair share of criminals too, but at least they didnt rob our own students.
