those two teams have been fairly good until this year,georgia slightly less

have many years have we heard boise crap? all the good teams they've beat extends over like 4 seasons.

i would've actually put TCU in the same boast as boise,at least they manned up and joined a conference that has some competition

Hate to tell you this, but the Big East isn't much better, if at all, than the Mountain West.

Won't have to worry about those things in the future. I think the powers (money) that be are working on parity for the future. Super conferences leading to two major conference in the US. The East and the West. NCAA won't run it, the good ol' boys will. Might take another 10-20 years, but I see it coming down to that. College teams end up being farm teams for the NFL.

Agreed. The big east.s best team is by far wvu, and boise could beat them easily, and in spite of the loss at baylor, so could tcu.

If everything had stayed together for the Mountain West, and they had added the 4 WAC teams, a conference of:

Boise State
TCU
Utah
BYU
Air Force
Fresno State
Hawaii
Nevada
SDSU
Colorado St
UNLV
Wyoming

That would easily eclipse the Big East and wouldn't be far behind the others.

My dream National Championship match-up would Alabama and Boise State for three reasons:

1. If Bama wins, my team has another National Title to add to the wall.

2. If Boise wins, every idiot who talks down Boise because of their schedule can eat crow.

3. If Boise wins, I can get drunk and chant "Mountain West - Mountain West - Mountain West!" at anyone and everyone.
