Ya, I used to hope that didn't happen, but now I think that match up would actually be interesting, what with the "who's better" argument having really heated this year.

What sucks is if we find out, it's already irrelevant because they won't be in the title game. At least, I assume that. If two non-bcs teams went to the title game, their would be riots.

I've become an anarchist as far as CFB goes, I root for whatever takes any credit from the system as is. I hate Boise, moreso the new Boise fans, but the BCS bull can only collapse with them or the frogs hammering Oregon.

I totally agree. I also find the plethora of BSU fans you see walking around nowadays obnoxious. And the only reason why I take up for BSU is because they and their ilk are the poster-child of the flaws of the BCS system.

I keep thinking about the idea of a BCS Buster getting into and/or winning the Title Game would be good for chaos in the BCS System but honestly... The more I think about it the more I kind of think the BCS could gain strength from it.

The BCS could step back and go "See! Even a Non-AQ team can go play for, and win, the National Title." TCU/BSU for the title might irritate everyone in CFB but looking at it from the perspective of somebody who wanted to defend the BCS... You could easily see them getting ammo from just such a game.

The institution of a playoff system will amount to the death of college football as we've come to know and love it. It will simply turn into the NFL, a sequence of meaningless games for 3 months and then the season starts in December. A playoff sounds cool, but I can guarantee you'll miss those "must-win" weeks throughout the regular season once they're gone. That's what makes college football awesome, every single week is a must win if you want to compete for a title. A playoff totally eliminates that element.
