Oregon would have to lose for Florida to get in. The reaction to fans outside of the SEC was not a good one and most of my friends who attend games every Saturday didn't even watch the championship. I don't know what the ratings were and maybe I'd be surprised but I doubt they were very good. Bama/Georgia vs. Oregon would draw better ratings than Bama/Georgia vs. Florida. At this point, every fan from every conference pulls against the SEC. They won't watch another all-SEC championship but they will watch in hopes that Oregon(or whoever) dethrones the SEC.

Would be bad business to pick another all-sec championship.

Your offense turning it over 4-5 times inside your half of the field will do that...even with an O ranked that low or a D ranked that high

(and UF leads the country in forcing turnovers, doesn't it?)

Oh yeah, all that definitely helps. But I'm talking the other direction. UF is over their season average and 140+ over what FSU is giving up. I'm laughing at their D and level of competition.

TN and Florida State go down by the same score to UF at home. Kinda funny.

Still think Bama would beat Florida with fair ease. Oregon-Bama would at least be a pretty good game, as would Bama-ND if ND's defense played well.

I hate Florida. Nothing would please me more than seeing Oregon get in over them.

I'd even be ok seeing something bizarre again, like espn pulling the "you have to win your conference" card all night again and Kansas state magically jumping over everyone lol

That would be wonderful if KSU came out of nowhere based on nothing other than winning their conference.

Glad to see the big win for the SEC. Thanks, Gators! Now, if South Carolina can come through.

Are you freakin serious?

I hate the Gators and in no way does them winning help us.

Our recruiting looks to get worse with three seasons straight of seven losses and you're rooting for them to finish with one loss? Nobody respects Tennessee just because we play in the best conference. They laugh at us because we lose seven games every year. They think we suck.

You must never want us to beat them again.

SEC supremacy is so dumb. So so so dumb.

Nuh uh, it's awesome!

Being in the best conference is great. It's really good for us when Florida/Georgia/Alabama go 11-1, South Carolina/LSU/Texas A&M go 10-2, Miss State goes 9-3 and Vanderbilt goes 8-4. That means they recruit well and continue to represent the SEC, who cares if Tennessee finishes below .500? The SEC is a team, didn't you know? Their success is our success. If we just add our 5-7 record to their 80-16 record, we're 85-23! And if we add our 2* recruits to their 5* recruits, what a class! We're going places.

As I was saying...

That you think Florida will back into the championship?

Not only do they need Notre Dame to lose, they also need Oregon to lose. Sitting at home while Oregon beats a good UCLA team puts them over Florida. Plus, BCS makes more money if they put anyone in the championship against Bama/Georgia outside of the SEC. And you know that's what the BCS is all about... money. Florida is not going to the championship.

It doesn't look like Oregon is going to get a chance to play UCLA.

Not only do they need Notre Dame to lose, they also need Oregon to lose. Sitting at home while Oregon beats a good UCLA team puts them over Florida. Plus, they make far more money if they put anyone in the championship against Bama/Georgia outside of the SEC. Florida is not going to the championship.

If you told me before the season started UF would go 11-1 and make a BCS bowl, I'd question your sanity.

We have no control over our destiny, so I won't be all that disappointed over not making the title game. A BCS bowl bid is good enough for me.

Oregon vs. UCLA is already set.

No it's not; Stanford's second loss was out of conference (Notre Dame)

Oregon needs Stanford to lose this week to make the conference championship game. otherwise, Stanford's in it

Because Oregon just had to lose to Stanford at home, Stanford gets the P12 title bid if they beat UCLA.

Right, dang.

Still think they take Oregon over Florida.

They lose tons of money with an all-SEC championship. Half the country won't watch. Bama vs. LSU was a dud.
