True, I didn't look at the other lists. But even with the rankings from the other services, these were not consensus top 10 players or McD AAs like some of the past Tennessee players (Massengale, Burdick, Graves, Russell) who failed to live up to their rankings. Sure, getting the #1 player is generally a sure thing (unless you're Holly), but I'd guess that if you look at the seniors in collegiate All American lists, around half would be players that weren't top 10 players in their class.I assume your using Hoopgurlz rankings only in your previous post by those rookies being ranked outside of the top 25 that got drafted. Bella Alarie and Mikiah Herbert-Herrigan fit the description that you're talking about but the rest of them don't. Some of the players you listed like Satou Sabally and Kitija Laksa are European players and they aren't ranked by the recruiting services. Ruthy Hebard wasn't a top 25 ranked player but made the USA basketball team prior to her freshmen season. Tyasha Harris was ranked 18 by Prospect Nation and 22 by Bluestar. Jazmine Jones was ranked 13th by ASGR and 20th by Prospects Nation. Jocelyn Willoughby was ranked high as 15th by ASGR, 26 by Bluestar, and 29 by Prospects Nation.
