41 Players from 2008 UF team arrested

I am sure you are referring to the infamous, "barking at the police dog" incident. In that particular case, I believe that was one of those bad days for a cop. But heck, it IS Gainesville.

However I have my doubts you can put all 41 arrests for a single class on that. Ole Urbie has a lot to answer for, and his problems he had at UF seems to have followed him to Columbus.

I have said it once, and I say it again; Character matters.

Its Meyer's fault they got arrested? Its UF's fault that former students do bad things later?

You might want to take at look AT YOUR OWN experience at UT with former football players and their later misdeeds, before you do too much finger pointing.

Leonard Little: DUI killed a woman; then harrassed and threatened an ex girlfriend; arrested for DUI yet again.

Dwayne Goodrich: hit and run accident killed two people.

Donte Stallworth: drunk and high struck and killed a pedestrian.

Is it Fulmer or UT's fault these guys did these things?

Blame should be shared equally between Urban Meyer and President Obama.

A preacher, a murderer and a racist walk into a bar. The bartender says, "Welcome back 2009 Gators' offense!!!"

Yes, I stole it...

You hate to hear stuff like this no matter the team they play(ed) for. Everybody has some.

I missed the quote from Muschamp saying he's responsible for his former players' actions and decisions.

Perhaps you can post a link to that quote.

I was being a smart ass earlier. Hard to hide my jealousy towards your success against us. That being said there was a tremendous lack of accountability under Meyer. It was the perfect example of win at all costs. I have a hard time believing these guys suddenly decided to be criminals after leaving FL.

Meyer played favorites, no question about it.

I don't think he deserves blame for Hernandez's recent issues, but it's fair to debate whether or not Hernandez should have been recruited, given his past.

It's easy to ask that question now in hindsight. There were dozens of schools willing to roll the dice on the nation's #1 TE coming out of HS.

I would have guessed he was. I've never heard of that dude. I also thought Cornelius Ingram was the #1 guy at his position coming out... just checked and he wasn't. #1 ATH that year was... a guy that went to georgia and i've never heard of him.

Aron White was a pretty good TE for UGA. He was best known for getting stuck in the hedges at Sanford Stadium. Not sure if he caught on in the NFL...I guess I could Google it, but I'd have to care enough first.

Ingram was a great kid with a great attitude. It's a shame he couldn't stay healthy.

This explains a lot about LG's success and continued practice down there. All they do us "recruit" potential clients. Like fish in a barrel right LG?

I bet he wishes he had one Johnny Manziel on his hands right about now.
