Spurrier sure has adapted. He can basically run a couple or 3 sets with Lattimore, a mobile qb, taking a shot here and there, and dumping in the flats to the rbs.

Richt has inherited Fulmer's 'Spurrier Complex' and Spurrier knows it. He has beat them 3 years in a row now and fills confident that he will continue to do so that he is making jokes at Richt's expense.

The loss last night is very disturbing.

I will not take anything away from the Chickens. They took it to our boys and beat the crap out of our team.

This is a trend that has continued for 5 straight years, at least. We always seem to show up flat in big time games.

'07- UT beat the crap out of us.
'08- Bama and UF beat the crap out of us.
'09- Lost to Okie St., UT and UF beat the crap out of us.
'10- Lost to Miss. St., Colorado, and UCF. Terrible losses IMO.
'11- Lost to Boise and got blown out by LSU.
'12- Destroyed by the Chickens while being ranked #5 in the country.

I can handle a loss. The problem is when the team shows up unprepared and gets their azzes handed to them. CMR and staff have their hands full to keep this team together and turn it around in a hurry.

CMR has kept Rodney Garner around and has been able to stick around because of it. I honestly think that his personality makes it difficult to control the egos that accompany the level of the recruits that GA has. On paper they should never get beaten like they did last night.

You are truthfully living through the dilemma that UT had with Fulmer. On one level I say enjoy...yet on the other hand, I don't think CMR is ever going to deliver an NC.

Some people will tell you that CMR has tried to get rid of Gardner before but the shot callers would not allow it.

It's not about getting a MNC to be honest. We all know the whole BCS system is garbage. I am more concerned with this trend we have fallen into.

I can tell you that the trend looks pretty familiar. I would share the same concerns if I were you.

At some point UGA and UT fans have to face the same fact. Spurrier is going to be a thorn as long as he is breathing.

I disagree that cmr has his hands full considering you guys have any easy schedule here on out minus Fla. Should win out otherwise.

Fire the guy and play the coaching hire lottery with the chance that instead of adding 2 wins a year your record may go down by 6 wins a season. Or be content to be pretty good only to have your hapless coach be out-coached by the actual good coaches in the league. I know UGA fans want option A now, but there are only a few Sabans or Meyers out there. I suspect you'll hire Kirby Smart and he will turn out to be a less than stellar head coach like almost all of Saban's assistants.
