#5 Georgia Bulldogs @ #1 Texas Longhorns (SEC on abc) 7:30

Georgia players with "why not us" on their face and Kirby going off after the gane how everyone doubted them is hilarious to me...c'mon!

Hi Texas! Welcome to the SEC. Not the cakewalk you thought, huh? Bunch of Coca Cola Cowboys. All hat and no cattle.

Having said that, Kirby is so full of 💩 his eyes are brown with all that rah-rah mess in the post game interview.

kirby's a joke and once the bottom falls out on Georgia its gonna be worse than Fulmer's fall

Didn't read that way

Looked like you were giving Kirby a pass on going for it on 4th and 1 from the TX side because TX didn't have TOs
No. I said earlier that was the only way Texas could win was by Georgia giving them a short field.

The whole "nobody respects us" routine is so stupid.
I don’t get how he gets away with it either. They were SLIGHT underdogs on the road against the number 1 team. Not unreasonable. Props to him for convincing his team people think they suck. He’s obviously good at it.

my suspicion is he has a tenuous hold on the locker room and is desperate for any motivation to distract them from thinking its all about them

So.... the only stupid thing GA could do to give TX a chance to win, they did

It's only a matter of time before a stupid decision like that costs GA a consequential game

Hopefully, it happens in a couple of weeks

I have never seen an official come back and say oops our bad, we are going to change our mind on that non-reviewable call 5 minutes after the fact. Every other time the fans just have to deal with getting hosed.

Simply incredible. Is consistency really that big of an ask with officiating?
In the end, it’s the right call to wave off the PI, and that matters. It was a bad call to throw the flag, and it robbed an important interception. The refs eventually got to the right call.

But the process stinks, and that matters, too. Talk it over before you announce the call. And whatever you do, don’t tell every student section in America that chucking stuff on the field is how to get calls reversed.

I don’t think refs are crooked. But competence is hard to come by.

I agree it was the right call, so they should do that in every game. When they do it on one call in one game it begs a lot of uneasy questions from consistency, competence, and even bias all the to conspiratorial. It’s just a bad look.

Also agree on the precedence, they just signaled to every fanbase it is open season to throw stuff on the field to get their way.

It’s unacceptable to have this level of bad in a multi-billion dollar enterprise like this.
