Yes.

He did not look good tonight. Sacked 8 times (so far), a bad fumble hitting what looked like his own guy. I think this hurts him significantly especially considering the stakes. With Clemson, Washington and Michigan losing last week the door opened up for them and he pooped the bed.

Plus national audience on a Thursday night, I suspect just about every voter is tuned in watching this tonight. That may be the worst part of it.

Top 10 team looks bad against a G5 team on a Thursday night with the nation watching. Star dual threat QB looks horrible and is sacked 11 times due to a horrible O-line. Reminds me of a UT game this year, difference is Houston is a much better team than App State and we actually won.

And the safety there just confirms how bad of a game he had. To his defense he was under attack all night, they challenged him to beat them with his arm and he couldn't. If you are Heisman worthy, you do. But he didn't. I'm think the OC is partially to blame, they could not adjust to the pressure. But then again, maybe they gave Jackson read pass options and he chose poorly too many times.

Plus the bazillion fumbles didn't help their cause.

Will major Applewhite be the head coach of Houston next season after Herman is hired by the Longhorns?

Well he definitely isn't going BACK to Texas! Last time ended badly. Thinking Orlando would be the more likely choice.

Why would the job at UCF be open? Scott Frost has done a good job this year but I doubt he gets a Power 5 offer after just one year.
