It sucked. Watching them run the flex for 30 seconds followed by a jacked up 3 was like watching a tractor pull. Everybody remembers the run and gun from the first year or two, but conveniently forgets what the offense devolved into.

And watching the Jerry Green 2.0 one-on-one offense is even more mundane than watching paint dry. At the end of the day, Bruce's teams always played meaningful basketball during the month of March. I think it's safe to say it's put up, or shut up time for Mr. Martin in year 3.

Because the offense under Pearl was so dynamic. :crazy:

There's something to be said for letting your players play an offense that puts players in positions to play with instinct and get open shots by pushing the pace, as we did for 55 seconds in the first half.
CM is putting players in positions where their strenghts aren't utilized. Stokes with his back to the basket is stupid against a taller and bigger man. Just stupid. You have to use your athleticism and run that dude to death.

I won't argue that regarding Pearl, but I still say we should go in another direction if we can't muster up an NCAA appearance with this roster.
