This game was something else. Washington earned both wins against Oregon this year. I'm rooting for them in the playoffs.

That score was closer than it should have been. I think Oregon converted three 4th down gambles in 2 possessions to stay in this game. It was dangerously close to becoming a blowout when they hit that first gamble.

Leading up to the game, I was thinking Oregon was the better team, but Washington beat them twice, so I guess I had that wrong.

These are two good teams but it's hard to believe people are still fooled on how good the Pac-12 was. At one time they had about 8 teams in the top 25 but finished with 4. Mississippi State beat the 3rd best team in the conference. The 5th best team had a big win over Florida.

FYI, in 2021 Washington advanced to the Pac-12 championship but had to give their spot to Oregon because of a player testing positive for covid.
