5*s McKenzie, Settle and Tuttle: Get All 3

We got one in the bag, for sure.

I hope so, if you are referring to Mackenzie. I am not counting that chicken until it hatches though. Agree the UNC mess may sway Tuttle toward us a little. I like Settle's film as well, but if there are grade issues, taking him might caused a spot to be wasted. And there is still too many strong prospects that out there to fill other needs.

Mackenzie, Tuttle and Picou added to the ones we have at DT, plus add that a couple of the guys listed at DE may move inside (possibly Sawyers and Hendrix), and we have a deep stable for the interior.

I think we would be fine with McKenzie and Picou if thats what it came down to

I'd be happier with a couple of these DT's than QB Gibson.

Gibson is having more leader changes than most folks have changes of underwear. No doubt he is a great talent, but I think we are good with Dormandy & Jennings this year.

Why not?

This is the quality of DL UT had when we won FBS-leading 157 games in 16 years (1989-2004) and beat Alabama 10 times from 1995-2006.

Tennessee's Gen. Neyland invented Defense in the SEC , not Bear Bryant, Nick Saban or Alabama. The General won 173 games: 109 were shutouts.

NFL Drafted D-Linemen Since 1991:

Chris Mims (1st Round #23)
Chuck Smith (2nd)
Todd Kelly (1st #27)
Shane Bonham (3rd)
Leonard Little (3rd)
Jonathan Brown (3rd)
Shaun Ellis (1st #12)
Darwin Walker (3rd)
John Henderson (1st Round #9)
Albert Haynesworth (1st Round #15)
Will Overstreet (3rd)
Justin Harrell (1st Round #16)
Turk McBride (2nd)
Robert Ayers (1st #18)
Dan Williams (1st #26)
Malik Jackson (5th -- Broncos, SB Starter in 2nd Yr.)

And let's not forget NFL HOF's Doug Atkins and Reggie White. Alabama doesn't have 1 DL in the NFL HOF.

Wonder how many they claim? 10-20 would be my guess

I think D. Barnett will eventually slide over to DT as well.

Derrick Thomas didn't make it yet?

Hate the Tide, but damn shame if true

UNC could be in trouble with the NCAA. Clemson can't beat S. Car, and we just did.

you are exactly right a lot of kids who have UNC on the top of their list will be looking elsewhere and soon. They are going to be in deep trouble!

Can anyone confirm what the issue is with Settle? Sat Down South has him coming to UT if he picks SEC, along with Sweat if he goes SEC. Would be huge if we can get both these studs and McKenzie.

McKenzie is a VFL
Jones is a VFL
With NCs new troubles I think Tuttle will be a VFL also!
