Stairway...?

Just for the money it gets from radio play

Then maybe Under the Bridge -- Red Hot Chili Peppers

Nothing like a good song about going on a heroin binge.

My five in no particular order:

1. Californication - RHCP (not my favorite song of theirs, but lyrically it's a masterpiece, Kiedis is probably my favorite lyricist of this generation)
2. Eleanor Rigby- Beatles (you could just about pick a McCartney Beatles' song and I'd wish I could write it)
3. Imagine- John Lennon
4. Creep- Radiohead
5. Black Hole Sun- Soundgarden (Cornell at his finest, that song just oozes with 90'sness)

You could add just about any DMB or Tool song to that list.

Easy Come, Easy Go - Hayes Carll
Hold Me Close - Lucero
Shades of Grey - Robert Earl Keen
Dead Flowers - Townes Van Zandt

Or I could have just listed almost any 5 Steve Earle songs but that wouldn't have been as much fun.

Hold on, i have to call you out for this one.. The Puff Daddy song?? you know this isnt even his song right? he just crappily talked like a retard over the instrumental of a Police song and made noises like *uhhh yeah*

Now if the topic was name songs you would have liked to have stolen and did a half ass job of remixing and made millions, then yes this song is at the top of my list...
