To all the star gazers out there...look how freaking bad the missed this kid. He is buried on the depth chart behind guys that were very unheralded and was granted an unconditional release

Ya you're right. This proves that 5 stars are not worth it. Give me a 5.6 any day over a 6.1 or 6.0.

Easy on Nationdom today guys...finding out that a 5 star can actually suck is akin to finding out Santa Claus is drunk Uncle Gus in a bad rental.

What's your point?

A 5 Star rating is not a guarantee of success. It's an indicator that the probability of success is higher.

So does that make these ratings subjective or objective? Who are the ratings for anyway? Recruiters, recruits, or fans?

Why is he transferring ? Anyone know?

Horns OLine was Horrendous last year. If it's bc he couldn't crack the line up... Well...

Keep him away from us

Oh they're completely subjective, but there are also mountains of data that demonstrate that 5's have a higher probability of success than 4's, 4's than 3's, etc..

Agreed, we have a 5 star signed this year and some on the DL. We go after some more top OL and DL this year to add to what we recruited last year amd we will be looking bet good.

Unconditional release as well. If Texas doesn't mind him playing in the same conference against them then he probably isn't very good.

Mr Tulip:"

It's a lack of progress. When you lose your job permanently to a guy that the head coach openly calls NCAA (no contact at all) during press conferences, you're probably not meeting expectations.

He's been endeavored. As in, "we wish you luck in your future endeavors".

Starting at post #7:
Mr Tulip (longhorn sports writer based in California)
Patrick McHorn (longhorn sports writer based in Texas)
ftblbob5 (Retired HS Coach...Baylor)

Another UT OL Is Leaving

This thread is about a Texas OL...the link he provided has writers with Texas ties discussing the player. BU will go random on you, but this isn't an example.
